Indian Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDAI) has declared 30 vacancies in Assistant Manager posts. These posts will be appointed for four specializations. Interested and qualified candidates can apply online for these positions.

Eligibility :

Graduate degree with 60 percent marks in any subject from recognized university or institution. Nine Papers of the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) exams have been passed.
Accounts, Position: 04

Eligibility :

A graduate degree with 60 percent marks in any subject. CA / CWA / CMA / CS examination pass.
Legal, Position: 02

Eligibility :

A graduate degree with 60 percent marks in any subject. LL.B. degree with 60 per cent marks.

General, Designation: 20

Eligibility:

A graduate degree with 60 percent marks in any subject.

Age limit (05 September 2017):

minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years In case of maximum age limit, SC / ST applicants will be given five years, OBC applicants will be given three years and divisors will get ten years off.

Pay Scale: Rs 28,150 to Rs 55,600/-



Selection Process:

Selection of qualified candidates will be held in three phases. The first stage will be the online preliminary examination. Then the candidates passing in it will have to give a second round of descriptive examination. After this the third phase will be interviewed.

Nature of examination:

Phase I test:

This will be based on multiple choice questions. There will be a total of 160 questions related to Reasoning, English Language, General Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude. This test will be for 160 marks in total. 90 minutes to answer questions. The question paper will be in both Hindi and English medium. But English language questions will be in English only. On each wrong answer, a quarter point will be deducted.

Phase II test:

It will include three papers in the descriptive examination. The first paper will be based on English, second paper economics and social issue imposing insurance and third paper insurance and management. Each paper will be 100 points. Each paper will get 60 minutes to solve.

Phase-III Exam:

Interview will be organized. Only those candidates who will be interviewed for the interview will be successful in Phase-II examination. The final selection will be based on the scores obtained in phase-II and phase-III.

Examination center For Phase-I: Patna, New Delhi / NCR, Ranchi, Lucknow and Dehradun.

For Phase-II: Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi.
